မြန်မာနိုင်ငံရှိ လူငယ်များအတွက် အလုပ်အကိုင်အခွင့်အလမ်းနှင့် စွမ်းရည်မြှင့်တင်ရေး
၂၀၂၁ ခုနှစ်မှစတင်ခဲ့သော မြန်မာနိုင်ငံ၏ စစ်အာဏာသိမ်းမှုကြောင့် လူငယ်များစွာသည် ၄ နှစ်ကျော်ကြာ ပညာသင်ကြားခွင့်မရခဲ့ပါ။ အလုပ်လျှောက်ထားရာတွင်လည်း ပညာရေးမပြီးဆုံးခြင်း၊ ဘွဲ့မရရှိခြင်းနှင့် လုပ်ငန်းအတွေ့အကြုံမရှိခြင်းတို့ကြောင့် အလုပ်လျှောက်လွှာများ ပယ်ချခံရမှုများနှင့် ရင်ဆိုင်နေရသည်။
ဤပြဿနာများကို ဖြေရှင်းရန် စုန်ရေအဖွဲ့သည် လူငယ်များအား လုပ်ငန်းအတွေ့အကြုံရရှိစေရန် အလုပ်သင်သင်တန်းများကို စီမံကိန်းအခြေပြုဖြင့် စီစဉ်လျက်ရှိသည်။ အထူးသဖြင့် Civil Disobedience Movement (CDM) တွင် ပါဝင်ခဲ့သော ကျောင်းသားများကို ဦးစားပေးကာ ယခုဆိုလျှင် တတိယနှစ်သို့ရောက်ရှိလာပြီဖြစ်သည်။ လက်ရှိတွင် အလုပ်သင် ၅၅ ဦးသည် လက်တွေ့သင်တန်းများ (hands-on trainings) တက်ရောက်နေကြပြီး ၎င်းတို့သည် အလုပ်အကိုင်ရှာဖွေရာတွင် မိမိခြေထောက်ပေါ်မိမိရပ်တည်နိုင်ရန် ကြိုးပမ်းလျက်ရှိသည်။
သို့သော်လည်း လက်ရှိအခြေအနေသည် လူငယ်များအတွက် အနာဂတ်တည်ဆောက်ရန် အလွန်ခက်ခဲလှသည်။ ကျပန်းအလုပ်များသာလုပ်ကိုင်နေရခြင်း၊ လောင်းကစားလုပ်ငန်းများသို့ ရောက်ရှိသွားရခြင်းစသည့် အခက်အခဲများသည် ၎င်းတို့၏ အနာဂတ်ကို ပိတ်ဆို့လျက်ရှိသည်။
အမေရိကန်၏ မမျှတသော ဆုံးဖြတ်ချက်များ
၂၀၂၅ ခုနှစ် ဇွန်လအစောပိုင်းတွင် အမေရိကန်ပြည်ထောင်စုသည် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံသားများနှင့် ကျောင်းသားများအား အမေရိကန်နိုင်ငံသို့ ဝင်ရောက်ခွင့်၊ အဆင့်မြင့်ပညာရေးနှင့် စီးပွားရေးလွတ်လပ်မှုရှာဖွေခွင့်များကို ပိတ်ပင်ခဲ့သည်။ ထို့ပြင် ပြီးခဲ့သည့်အပတ်က စစ်ခေါင်းဆောင် မင်းအောင်လှိုင်၏ အကြမ်းဖက်လုပ်ရပ်များကို ရန်ပုံငွေထောက်ပံ့ပေးနေသည့် စစ်ဘက်ဆိုင်ရာ အကျင့်ပျက်ခြစားသူများအပေါ် ပိတ်ဆို့အရေးယူမှုများကို ရုပ်သိမ်းလိုက်ခြင်းသည် မတရားပြီး မတိကျသည့် ဆုံးဖြတ်ချက်တစ်ရပ်အဖြစ် ယူဆပါသည်။
စုန်ရေ၏ ကြိုးပမ်းဆောင်ရွက်မှုများ
ဤခက်ခဲသောအချိန်ကာလတွင် စုန်ရေအဖွဲ့သည် စီးပွားရေးတရားမျှတမှု (economic justice) နှင့် လူငယ်စွမ်းဆောင်ရည်မြှင့်တင်ရေး (youth empowerment) အတွက် လိုအပ်နေသူများကို ပံ့ပိုးရန် Crisis Project Management Internship အစီအစဉ်ကို လေးလကြာ ဆောင်ရွက်လျက်ရှိသည်။ ဤအလုပ်သင်အစီအစဉ်သည် CDM တွင်ပါဝင်ခဲ့သူများ၊ နိုင်ငံရေးအကျဉ်းသားများ၏ မိသားစုဝင်များနှင့် သာမန်ပြည်သူများကို ဦးစားပေးကာ လုပ်ငန်းခွင်ဝင်ရောက်ရန်လိုအပ်သော ကျွမ်းကျင်မှုများကို လက်တွေ့ဗဟိုပြုသင်ကြားပေးလျက်ရှိသည်။

ဤProject Management internship အစီအစဉ်သည် လူငယ်များအား ၎င်းတို့၏အနာဂတ်ကို တည်ဆောက်နိုင်ရန် လက်တွေ့ကျသော အတွေ့အကြုံများနှင့် ကျွမ်းကျင်မှုများ ဖြည့်ဆည်းပေးနိုင်ရန် ရည်ရွယ်ပါသည်။
အောက်က ဗီဒယို လေးကတော့ မြောင်နှင့်မုံရွာ ဒေသများတွင် အလုပ်သင်များ၏ ပံ့ပိုးမှုဖြင့် လူပေါင်း ၄၀၀ ကျော်ထံ Women Dignity Kits ထုပ်များ ဖြန့်ဝေပေးအပ်ခဲ့ပြီး Menstrual health and hygiene management related awareness education sessions အသိပညာပေးသင်တန်းများ ပြုလုပ်ခဲ့သည်

A quick update of our Sone Yay activities.
The military coup in Myanmar since 2021 has left many young people out of school for over four years, without degrees or job skills. This makes it nearly impossible for them to find work and build a future. At the same time, this early june 2025, the U.S. ban on Myanmar citizens and students seeking safety, higher education and economic freedom while lifting sanctions on military cronies who fund violence, is unfair and wrong.
Sone Yay fights for economic justice and youth empowerment.
Our project management internship trains students from the civil disobedience movement and families and relatives of political prisoners, giving them real professional skills like crisis project management, strategic communication, financial management, team building, grant writing, MEC, etc..
IMPACT:
Since 2022, we’ve empowered over 55 interns with hands-on training in transferable skills like teamwork, problem-solving, and leadership. Now, with new grant funding, we’re moving from unpaid to paid internships, helping young people earn a living and take control of their own futures. Our goal is they become financial independent with decent job in the future.
Since 2022, we’ve supported over 55 project interns, and enure to provide opening opportunities for 2-3 project assistant positions every 3-6 months, helping them gain their professional experience and independence. With grant funding, we now offer paid internships.
Special tribute: One of the 8888 Umbrella students, among former political prisoners, creates video ads for our projects using tech skills. We provide tech assistance fees to support their path to self-sufficiency, offering financial and emotional support to help heal trauma.
To Myanmar’s youth: You are strong, resilient, and full of potential. Keep pushing forward, even in these tough times.
