Sone Yay Foundation took part in the Research Conference on Health in Complex Emergencies: Research and Response in the Myanmar Crisis, organized by the Ministry of Health of the National Unity Government and held from September 27–29, 2025.
The Foundation contributed two significant presentations:
Paper Presentation: Emerging Civil Disobedience Movement Youth Leaders’ Initiatives: Addressing Period Poverty and Empowering Displaced Women and Girls through Menstrual Health Management in Myanmar.
Poster Presentation: From Zero to Resilience: Building Myanmar’s Health System Amid Conflict.
The conference convened nearly 200 participants, providing a vital platform for sharing evidence, experiences, and strategies to strengthen health systems and community resilience in conflict-affected Myanmar.
